The 5 best Christmas gifts to get a law student

    Headphones: As a law student, it’s correct to say that you are going to spend a lot of your time reading, writing and understanding the work around you for exams and assessments. Now for many students, this task is made so much easier with one small easy thing, headphones. This small gift can really be a game-changer for any law student. Allowing for focus on work and not for procrastination with a friend or colleague. Headphones may seem like a small item to have in what can be a very busy student life. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth and as mentioned above can be a very handy tool in helping concentration. Headphones as a Christmas present are multipurpose and can be used for all manner of purposes many outside the person studies, which is very handy. A good pair of headphones can become a law students’ best friend.

A table/bed light: Now we come to a present that is very practical and when it comes to a person’s studies can really help to give that extra little bit of time on there work. A table light is a very useful took and can allow you to work as long as you like in the dark and not wake up any of the people who live with you. Another positive of a table is that it saves money instead of using the “big light” as it’s known in my house. If a table lamp is not something you think would be useful then a bed light may be exactly what you’re looking for. A bed light not only allows you to work late into the night when necessary, but also allows you to work from the comfort of your bed. This comfort is definitely something that will help with a person’s creativity.

Books and magazines: Now this gift is a particular favourite of mine. As a law student, I enjoy reading into law-related topics and the opinions of others in the field. For me, law books especially those that look into different forms of criminality, are something I can read a lot and enjoy. Of course, reading on top of the necessary reading needed for a person to pass the course is not everyone’s idea of a good time. However, I argue that the more literature you can read in this area the better your legal skills can become, and this cannot be a bad thing. Laptop bag: Now this gift is a very important one. A laptop bag in the life of a law student can be one of the biggest helps to save time. a law student as you probably already know is constantly on the move. Not only do you have lectures and seminars to go to but, group meetings, group projects as well as studying sessions in the library. Having a very good laptop bag can speed up slow and boring tasks easily, such as filing papers for different meetings. Laptop bags are durable and, in most parts, allow you to add other accessories like an iPad, pens, highlighter and work booklets.

Travel mug: now I know many students, not just law students who suffer from tiredness and being able to balance their university work with there home life and social life. This is why I believe that a travel bug for coffee or tea can really help. Most students drink coffee at least once a day. Being able to take their coffee anywhere throughout their day can really benefit creativity and the ability to work in what else could seem a very hectic day. There are many different types of travel mug and ultimately the best one would depend on the person in question how they would use the tool.
