2019 UPDATE!!

Hi! 

As I’m sure you’re aware by now, the pair of us here at The Almost Lawyers are heading off on separate year abroad placements for the 2019/20 academic year. This doesn’t mean we are planning on stopping our blog, but we are going to be making some changes to our posting schedule! 

Up until now, we haven’t really had a posting schedule, preferring to write and post whenever inspiration strikes rather than forcing out content that we aren’t one hundred percent proud of. This has worked out great, but we have an idea we’d like to try. 

From this week (w/c 26th August 2019) until we finish our exchanges (Roughly May/June 2020) we have decided to keep you all up to date with what we are up to and our experiences being at universities abroad and, as we are both going solo (as in, there is not one person that we know going to the same country as us, let alone the same city), how we are adjusting to life in a different country all by ourselves. 

With this in mind, from this week onwards you can expect weekly updates from us! But to avoid the aforementioned issues, and to keep it fresh and interesting for you all, we are both going to post once a week on alternating weeks. This week will be my first post about living in Helsinki, Finland - as I am already here (Spoiler: Having a great time), then next week will be Will’s first post about Lyon, France once he has moved out there and settled in!
